O2 in discussions to bundle Apple laptops with both landline and mobile broadband, it's being reported.
The official iPhone operator in the UK is said to be looking to capitalise on its existing relationship with Apple, with the deal seeing MacBooks on sale in O2 stores.
The report suggests that the laptops would be bundled with the fixed and mobile broadband packages offered by O2.
Unlike similar schemes run by Carphone Warehouse and PC World, the laptops wouldn’t be free, but would be subsidised under the scheme.
Mobile Today states that "O2 and Apple are understood to be discussing a deal" but has no further info on timescale.
UPDATE: An O2 spokesperson has said there are "no current plans" for this scheme.
