Following a heavy advertising campaign in the US and UK, Apple says it has shipped 1,764,000 Mac computers in the last quarter, representing 33 percent growth over the year-ago quarter.
The Company also sold almost 10 million iPods during the quarter, representing 21% growth over the year-ago quarter.
The company says that non Mac products such as the iPhone and iPod accounts for 40% of the company's business.
The company is also boasting that is it is now the third largest music retail in the US ahead of Target and Amazon.
Apple has said that it sold 270,000 iPhones in the last 30 hours of the quarter, however admitted that only 146,000 phones were activated following activation issues.
