AM Micro has announced the availability of the latest version of Data Backup PC by data security 'sperts Prosoft Engineering.

Prosoft's Data Backup PC is their first PC version of the software, and is equivalent to version 3.0 on the Mac.

Aimed at both home-using consumers, as well as professionals that don't benefit from network backups, Data Backup PC offers an easy-to-use solution to protect files fast.

Data Backup PC allows users under a Windows operating system to backup to any storage media including CD or DVD, USB, tape, Blue-ray discs and network drives.

Compatible with Vista, as well as older Windows systems, Data Backup PC provides a wizard driven user interface that lets you set up and manage an unlimited number of backup sets.

It is available now, for £41, and a digital download version will be available in the coming weeks, see link below.
