The daddy of music shops gets an online makeover

The daddy of music shops gets an online makeover.

Of the high street entertainment retailers, Virgin is nearly always the name mentioned when talking about keeping a collective finger on the pulse.

This revamped site offers new functionality, especially when it comes to searching, and new content. Customer reviews make their presence felt as well as recommendations from store staff. The in-store experience is further enhanced by recordings of the various live events that happen around the country, so if you've missed a PA, you can catch it online.

The games section now has more viewable content in the shape of clips and demos so you get more of a feel for what you're buying and the try before your buy idea also extends to nearly all the music catalogue.

With a wishlist feature, and an overall improvement in the way orders are handled, Virgin Megastores have assembled all the bits and bobs you enjoy on other sites and presented them in a clean, user-friendly environment.

We like this package. We like it a lot. And did we mention the free delivery? On everything? No…? Now we have.
