Three new Ford ranges get DAB radio
Ford has launched DAB digital radios into three of its ranges, with plans to extend the feature to more of its vehicles later this year.
The Ford Focus, Ford C-Max and Ford Kuga will be the first models to get DAB, which will be available as an optional extra while the Ford Kuga "Titanium" will have DAB as standard.
The Sony made systems will cost £300 extra with the Focus Style, Zetec, ST-1 and ECOnetic; C-Max Style and Zetec and Kuga Zetec and £100 more with the Focus Titanium and ST-2/3 and C-MAX Titanium models.
Which? Car editor Richard Headland said: "So far, DAB has largely failed to catch on in cars - more because it's not widely offered by carmakers than because listeners don't want it".
"But with Ford making DAB available on Britain's best-selling Focus, we hope other big players will soon follow suit."
