Belkin launches cases, meeces for Asus Eee

In the States, Belkin has launched a range of accessories for the Asus Eee that will go on sale in the coming months, although we've yet to hear of a UK announcement.

The range includes two mice, appropriately sized for the Eee's travel-friendly dimensions, two cases and a neoprene sleeve, for anyone who wants to replace the arguably good quality one Asus bundles in with the Eee.

The wireless travel mouse for XP machines, for $20, works via USB, features three programmable buttons: micro switch, mechanical scrolling wheel, and depressing function on wheel and has an on and off switch to save power when not in use.

The retractable mouse, coming in at $15, has a retractable cable that stays untangled and out of your way, is powered via USB and compatible with Windows machines too.

The two cases offered are the quilted carrying case, for $20, designed for 7-inch Eees - it's described as durable and lightweight, whereas the mini laptop carrying case, at $25, is made of neoprene, has a detachable strap and outside pockets.

The neoprene sleeve, at $13, is also said to be light and durable and, like all the accessories, will be available in a range of four colours - jet-set red, plum berry, techno blue, and black.
