Lindy Electronics has launched a new USB VoIP phone.
It's compatible with Skype (for which is has auto-launch functionality) as well as other VoIP software such as MSN and Yahoo Messenger.
Its two-piece design means it's a more trad telephone offering than headsets or mikes, it's got a quick dial function and the keypad lets you navigate through Skype software.
The phone comes with a 1.3 metre USB cable and can be desk or wall mounted. If you go for the desk option then the handset can also be turned around and slotted upright into the base.
It requires no soundcard, which means you don't need to unplug speakers or other audio equipment to use it, and has four different ring tones to choose from.
It's compatible with Windows 2000, XP and Vista and is vez cheap at only £21.99.
