Supermarket offers 17-inch AMD dual-core notebook for £499

Medion MD 96327 goes on sale in Sainsbury's

Medion has announced that it is introducing a 17-inch AMD dual-core notebook into Sainsbury’s stores.

Including Windows Vista Home Premium edition, the Medion MD 96327 will be priced at £499.99 including VAT.

Medion’s MD 96327 features a 1.6GHz AMD Turion dual-core processor with ATI Mobility Radeon Xpress 1100
PCI Express graphics, a 160GB hard drive and 2MB RAM.

The notebook houses a 17-inch TFT WXGA widescreen monitor optimised for DVD playback, high definition audio
with two integrated loudspeakers and a dual-layer DVD re-writer.

Wireless LAN 802.11b/g of up to 54 Mbit/s as well as a 10/100 Mbit fast Ethernet LAN port is also incorporated.

Oh - and they're also throwing in a USB notebook mouse and carry bag.
