Buffalo Technology has announced the launch a draft-n dual band Ethernet converter, the WLI-TX4-AG300N, that will enable users to connect wired entertainment devices to their home network without trailing wires around the home.
The wireless-N Nfiniti dual band Ethernet converter is designed to integrate wired devices, such as printers and games consoles, into a wireless network.
Up to four devices can be connected to the Ethernet converter at the same time and Buffalo says thanks to the wireless-N technology and dual band, even HD content can be streamed without interruption across a stable 802.11n draft 2.0 connection.
"As user demand for wireless technology continues to increase and manufacturers migrate towards this format, we recognise that many users might be concerned about the previous investment they have made in wired devices", says Kevin Vine, EMEA sales and marketing director at Buffalo.
"This new product protects their investment by utilising the latest technology to allow them to enjoy their multiple entertainment devices wirelessly."
The wireless-N Nfiniti dual band Ethernet converter will be available from July for around £55.99.
