LaCie launches 250GB Porsche mobile hard drives

Portable storage just got sexy

17 July 2007 11:01 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

LaCie has announced increased capacity for its Mobile Hard Drives, designed by F.A. Porsche, to 250 gigabytes.

These new drives either include USB2, or USB 2 and FireWire 400, interfaces for easy data transfers between computers.

You know the drill by now - simply plug these drives in to your laptop or desktop computer’s USB or FireWire port to add storage for office data or digital files.

The real selling point for these drives, now that they are available with decent storage capacity, is their size - and looks.

That small, sleek, minimalist case! The fact they weigh less than a deck of cards!

Available now in the US of A, with pricing from $240.
