eMusic are offering some brand new holiday playlists. If you don't have time to create your own playlists or are looking for some musical ideas to get you in the mood then eMusic's holiday playlists are the answer to iPod ennui this summer.
eMusic's resident "eMusicologist" has created a selection of holiday soundtracks from the eMusic catalogue of 2.5 million tracks from the world's best independent labels.
They include "Songs for a romantic getaway", "Songs for a trip to Eastern Europe" - which includes tracks by celebrated local artists - and "Songs for a beach getaway" featuring classic summer tracks from the likes of Bob Marley.
For nervous flyers, eMusic has used a sensory expert to develop a dedicated playlist that could help to calm you down - it features carefully selected chill-out tunes and hypnotic beats.
All tracks from eMusic come in MP3 format and so can be played on any MP3 player, not just iPods. eMusic is a subscription-based service and offers 25 free downloads at sign-up.
