AM Micro has announced that they are now shipping WiebeTech 200GB and 250GB 2.5-inch drives, the largest capacity 2.5-inch options on the market today.The products available are WiebeTech's ToughTech mini and ToughTech XE mini pocket drives.
The 200GB drive is available with 7200rpm, and the 250GB drive is available with 5400rpm.
The ToughTech mini connects using either USB2 or FireWire 400 or 800, while the XE version gets an eSATA USB2 combo port, both come in a small package of just 13 x 8 x 2cm.
The ToughTech range will work out of the box with Windows, OS X and any flavour of Linux that supports USB.
