Nitendo has announced that it will be launching a range of new accessories for its Nintendo Wii console in conjunction with new games out later this year.Aside from announcing Wii Fit a balance board that encourages active gameplay. The games maker is also promising the Wii Wheel, a steering wheel housing for the Wii Remote.
Launching in conjunction with Mario Kart on the Wii later in the year, the game will be controlled via steering as you would in a car from your sofa.
Not wanting to leave out first person shooters, the company also announced the Wii Zapper, which combines the accuracy of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk in a single housing for a new experience for first-person shooters and targeting games.
Players can hear the sounds of battle through the Wii Remote speaker when it is incorporated into the Wii Zapper.
Nintendo say it will arrive on store shelves later this year, packaged with Nintendo-developed software that shows off its versatility.
The Wii Zapper also will be used with a host of third-party games, including Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles from Capcom, Ghost Squad from Sega and Medal of Honor from Electronic Arts. Gaming, Nintendo Wii, Gaming hardware, Nintendo
