Argos has managed in one foul swoop to announce to the world the immanent arrival of a sliver slim-line PlayStation 2. The new model, not officially announced by Sony as yet appeared briefly on the UK shops website before being taken down.According to the website the special silver version will cost the same as a black one: £105.
The Easter period (only 9 weeks away now) is a popular time for the console manufacturers to create special edition coloured units in time for the school holidays. Last year Sony released an Aqua model for a limited time and Microsoft did the same with a green version of the Xbox.
We will keep you posted.
