Casio has announced the release of two new digital cameras with the cutting-edge EXILIM Engine 2.0 image processing module.The 8.1-megapixel EXILIM Card EX-S880 and the 7.2-megapixel EXILIM Zoom EX-Z77 add enhanced movie functionality to Casio's series of EXILIM digital cameras.
Both new models come with a high-quality movie function that makes the most of next-generation H.264 compression technology (the format that can be played on the iPhone).
They also feature Casio's new YouTube BEST SHOT Mode, which enables users to shoot and save movies at the optimum size, quality and other settings for YouTube.
Casio has also included an exclusive software application that makes it fast and simple to upload movies to YouTube.
Casio are not the first manufacturer to included specific YouTube functionality in their gadgetry, Apple, Helio, LG and most recently Samsung are also offering YouTube features.
The new cameras also feature anti-shake, blur reduction, an auto-tracking AF system, and face detection technology.
Features for the EXILIM Card EX-S880:
8.1 million effective pixels, 3X optical zoom
Wide viewing angle, 2.8-inch bright widescreen LCD display
Maximum 4 shot per second high-speed continuous shutter (only at 2.0 megapixel image size)
Data Storage function enables users to carry data transferred to the camera from a computer
Choice of three body colours: silver, black and red.
Features for the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z77:
7.2 million effective pixels, 3X optical zoom.
2.6-inch widescreen LCD display
Easy Mode, which displays simple shooting menus on the right side of the monitor.
Maximum 5 shot per second high-speed continuous shutter (only at 2.0 megapixel image size)
Choice of five body colours: silver, black, red, blue and pink.
