Or the really simple

We previewed this back when it was announced, but the Kidizoom from VTech is a new Multimedia Digital Camera for children aged three and upwards, is now available in shops.

Kids can use the Kidizoom to take photos, make movies and play games.

It is packed full of fun features such as interchangeable face plates for personalisation, a creative workshop to edit photos and that aforementioned range of in-built games to play on the go or via the TV or PC.

As you'd hope, the Kidizoom is ultra tough to deal with any rough and tumble and comes complete with a carry strap.

VTech claims that children will find it easy to capture and snap away with a dual viewfinder, 1.8-inch high-resolution colour LCD screen, flash, and big chunky buttons.

It has 16MB of internal memory but takes SD cards so you can let your little ones snap away to their heart's content.

The Kidizoom costs £59.99 and is available now, with a pink version exclusive to Toys'r'Us.
