Following our previous story that claimed O2 were imminently going to be announcing an Apple deal giving them exclusive rights to the iPhone in the UK, an O2 spokeperson has said the following:

"This is pure speculation and we are not expecting to announce anything. Every network has been link to the iPhone and now it seems to be our turn."
