Details have come to light on T-Mobile's new Sidekick with Motorola taking a turn to bring some new life to the design, which they appear to have done by going a) shiny, and b) purple.

Codenamed "Zante", this is also known as the Motorola Q900, and is rumoured to be being readied for an American launch in October.

It's said to boast full multimedia support, Java games, a 1.3-megapixel camera 2.4-inch QVGA display, push email, web-browsing (EDGE), Bluetooth, a small 128MB internal memeory which is expandable via memory card and 5.9-hours talk time.

Should be about $250 in the States, nothing official at this stage so no confirmations of pricing or availability.
