iriver launches d10 dictionary MP3 player

20 January 2005 13:19 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Details are sketchy but it looks like iriver Korea has launched a new MP3 player called the D10 today joining a MP3 player with a Dictionary.

While we can't read Korean, we have managed to ascertain that will come in black or red, come with a 4.5in mono LCD, support SD Cards, have a built in FM-Radio and voice recording functions. The Dictionary will also be able to be updated when new words are added to the language.

It also looks like you will be able to read e-books on the device and it will pronounce words via the MP3 player side of things for you if you are having trouble saying them.

The dictionary looks to be using the RANDOM HOUSE WEBSTER'S UNABRIDGED DICTIONARY that NEWSWEEK called "The best American unabridged"

No pricing as yet in the UK or whether it will in fact make it here at all.

We will keep you posted.
