Special contract-only handset for Vodafone

Sagem has launched the my850v, a bright blue stylish flipper phone that combines the best features of GSM mobile phones while integrating EDGE and 3G broadband mobile technologies.

It has a 2 megapixel camera, and a VGA camera on the front, an MP3 player, 3D games, the 3G features you'd expect, such as internet browser - and as it's a Vodafone handset - you can use the Vodafone live TV service which you can watch on the 262k colours QVGA screen.

The mirrored front display screen shows the name of the person calling, the piece of music being played, a message received indication and the time.

The my850v combines WCDMA and EDGE, tri-band and Bluetooth and has a 16MB memory that can be extended with a microSD card.

Unusually for Sagem who tend to specialise in affordable PAYG-type handsets, the my850V will be available in UK on free upgrade Vodafone contract from July 2007.
