Belkin has launched a Washable Mouse - a water-resistant mouse that can survive spills and can be hand-washed under the tap to stay clean.

The USB mouse features 1200dpi optical technology and will work on a variety of surfaces including upholstery and wood.

The Washable Mouse will be $29.99 when it launches late August in the States, with releases in Asia, Europe, and Australia to follow.
