Three-button Disgo Video launches for "YouTube generation"

The "Disgo Video", a pocket-sized digital video camcorder from Clever Stuff, designed for quick and simple shooting and sharing of videos on the go has launched in the UK.

Weighing no more than a mobile, Disgo Video has just three buttons for one-touch recording, instant playback on the LCD screen and deleting. We think their "easiest video camcorder in the world" claim might just stand up to scrutiny.

Shooting in just 640 x 480 quality, this almost ridiculously cheap product comes in at under £40 and is aimed firmly at the "YouTube generation".

Powered by two AA batteries, Disgo Video has a 2-inch colour screen and built-in speaker. It includes a removable 1GB SD memory card (upgradeable to 2GB) that will give you an hour's worth of recording.

Disgo Video can connect to a TV, via a TV cable included with the product and to PCs, via the also-included USB cable.

Requiring no software installation, video clips are automatically saved into AVI format which can then be uploaded direct to YouTube, as well as other video sharing sites.

The Disgo Video camera comes in at under £40 - so presumably £39.99 - will go on sale this coming weekend at Currys and PC World as well as online.
