Scandyna offers Micropod SE Active speakers

Scandyna has expanded its audio options with some funky new speakers.

The Micropod SE Active are designed to fit on your desk and work with your computer, or can be hooked up to your iPod or MP3 player.

Available in six vibrant colours; black, white, blue, red, silver or yellow and with that distinctive Podspeakers styling, you'll be hard pressed to find a funkier option.

The 2 x 10 watt Micropod SE Active has a built-in active amplifier, the Active SE unit which incorporates a high grade amplifier which supplies its kevlar bass/midrange unit and soft dome tweeter with precise and crisp sound.

Measuring 130mm (width) by 160mm (height) by 121mm (depth) they are compact enough to fit on your desk with the sputnik-style spikes but you can also get wall brackets or a tall stand to make sure they best suit your workspace.

Curvy, colourful and compact. What's not to like? Maybe that £199 price-tag...
