Samsung launches small and skinny YP-U3 MP3 player

Pocket-friendly portable jukebox

This new MP3 player from Samsung has been described as a littler sibling to Samsung's K3 and T9 models, and it looks like it will be a welcome addition to the family.

An in-built retractable USB plug means it's pocket-friendly, and with its measurements coming in at only 25.4mm in height and weighing just 22.8 grams, it'll certainly fit in there.

The U3 is available in five colours: black, white, pink, green and blue, and, for anyone who worries about colour co-ordination, you also get a matching colour earphone reel.

The display boasts a four line LED display showing artist's name, the song title and the album name on its screen, there's also cool blue LED lights and touch sensitive controls.

As far as the important bits go you get DNSe 3D audio technology, up to 4GB of flash memory, playback for 15 hours and it plays MP3 and WMA files.

Two other features to note are the voice recording and FM radio.

From £39.99, available now.
