MP3-Plus is touting two new players from iAudio and Mpio in the UK. The G3 is a flashed based player that professes to offer 50 hours of playback from a single AA battery. The compact model comes with an FM radio, and supports MP3, WMA, OGG, ASF or WAV formats.The model will come in three sizes 256MB, 512MB, 1GB and cost
The HD300 from Mpio comes in 20Gb and 40Gb versions and supports is of all the current standards including MP3, WMA, OGG, ASF and WAV. The unit also supports direct MP3 encoding, an FM Tuner and recorder with timed recording features.
Finally, the HD300 has an 8-line backlit LCD and a touch sensitive control pad similar to the Creative Zen Micro and the iriver N10.
Prices for the iAudio G3 are £99, £129 and £169 respectively for 256MB, 512MB and 1GB models. A two 2GB model will be available in Febuary/March but the price is yet to be confirmed.
The HD300 will cost £229 for the 20Gb version and £269 for the 40Gb model. Audio, MP3 players, MP3-plus-net
