Any parent will tell you that getting the kids to do anything is an exercise in persuasion, coercion or just downright blackmail. Money usually works and this US-based site could prove a useful tool.

You set your offspring tasks (or chores as this site calls them) and when the task is completed your child is rewarded financially in way designed to teach them about monetary responsibility.

Run with the assistance of MasterCard it might seem like an unnecessary extravagance to do it this way, but with modern kids spending more and more time online, the occasional email reminding them to tidy their room might not be bad idea.
