Nikon UK is so confident of the build quality of its cameras, it has announced today that it is extending the warranty for every model in its digital range from 1 September to 2 years.

To take advantage of the two year warranty customers are required to register their product. Mark Evans, Service Manager - Imaging, Nikon UK said, “We are confident that this will be a distinct benefit to all users and reinforces the confidence we have in the quality and durability of our products.”

Nikon has yet to confirm what happens to those who bought a Nikon camera before 1 July.
