"A unique new concept for live music" is how the website describes the upcoming iTunes festival.
Rather than a three day camp out in a muddy field, the iTunes events will span from the 1st to the 31st of July this year and will be held at the rather more dignified surroundings of the Institute of Contemporary Arts, on the Mall in London.
Over 60 bands and artists — including Amy Winehouse, Travis, Groove Armada, Stereophonics, Beverley Knight and Crowded House — will grace the stage of the Institute of Contemporary Arts in the heart of London.
Tickets for these intimate gigs cannot be bought. Instead, you will have the chance to win one of 350 tickets to see your idols perform live. Just register your name and email address on the site to be in with a chance to win.
If you can’t be there in person, every gig will be digitally captured and made available on iTunes for your listening pleasure.
Euro-pop boy Mika will be the first to perform on 1st July, details of this, plus the full schedule of events and links to win tickets can be found via the link below.
