BeerBot stores and pours your brewskis
Robots have finally found their higher purpose

7 June 2007 12:56 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott
Forget all this human-interfacing, stair-climbing, educational nonsense. It's about time someone invented a robot that could actually do something useful for once.
Well, they have. The Asahi Robocco BeerBot stores up to six tinnies in its tummy and then opens one and pours it for you on request.
This is the kind of higher purpose that technical learning and knowledge was always meant for and we're glad to see someone getting on track.
$799, sold in Japan but instructions available in English.
