BenQ launches world's slimmest 7MP camera in the UK

BenQ today announces the launch of two pocket-friendly (both in terms of price and of size) digital cameras, the X725 and T700 into the UK market, just in time to capture the summer.

The T700, an elegant 7-megapixel model, the first touch screen digital camera to be launched by BenQ, has a 3-inch touchscreen display panel that produces a screen resolution of 232,000 pixels for the clear and sharp viewing and touching.

It also has a Pentax SMC (Super Multi-Coating) lens for high contrast images and with a high colour saturation.

The T700's display has a with a "tag to enlarge" function, letting you enlarge specific areas of your photos by simply tapping the screen.

This model boasts stainless steel casing and slim-jim measurements of 14.9mm wide.

The X725 digital camera is the follow-up to the award-winning X720 and is the world’s slimmest 7-megapixel camera, measuring just 12.5mm in width.

The skinny camera features a Pentax 3x optical zoom lens with a Sliding Lens System that promises premium image quality.

Both BenQ digital cameras incorporate an advanced S.S.F (Super Shake Free) system which reduces image blur caused by shaky hands and moving images, creating a crisp and more accurate image.

The X725 will be around £165, the T700 £175, both will be available in shops towards the end of June.
