BBC Trust wants your input on HDTV

The BBC Trust (the body that oversees the BBC) wants to find out what viewers and listeners think about the BBC's proposed new high definition television channel.

Seeing as it will be licence fee payer's cash involved, the trust are asking for opinions as to whether the BBC should play a role in the development of high definition television broadcasting in the UK.

The BBC ran a year's trial of HDTV broadcasting, a scheme that started in May 2006, but for the scheme to continue and develop, it must have BBC Trust approval.

If you want to get involved, and have your say, copies of the BBC's HDTV channel proposal and consultation forms are available via the link below.
