Moving house is mental. Official. Maybe this will help

They say that moving home is the third most stressful thing you can go through after bereavement and divorce. Now I'm not sure who "they" are or whether it was the third fourth or even fifth most stressful thing to be honest, but it's certainly a right royal pain in the rear end.

This site really can help. You enter the postcodes of where you're moving from and to and the date you're uprooting and it spits out a personalised, easy to follow planner that will help guide you through the whole process.

It gives you a to-do list full of all those bureaucratic tasks that are really tedious and often get left to the last minute.

Follow it closely and moving should be a breeze.

They can't do anything about your solicitor dragging their expensively-shod heels though I'm afraid.
