Mirai to introduce the Chimei brand across Europe

From August Mirai's LCD monitors will start to be marketed under the global brand Chimei.

Chimei a major LCD TV and monitor brand in Asia and is the world's third largest supplier of LCD TV panels.

The decision to introduce the Chimei brand to the European market at this time is part of an overall strategy to build on its global manufacturing presence.

Paul Butler, general manager of Mirai, said: "The introduction of Chimei across Europe as the new name in monitors is an exciting step in celebrating the future of our products worldwide. Our channel, retailers and consumers will benefit from a global product strategy, which will provide faster and more flexible access to the latest developments and services".

The Chimei brand will offer a wide range of innovative digital widescreen monitors. New products will all match Vista requirements and a new range of Multi Function Monitors will be introduced in September.
