Sony Ericsson patents "PSP Phone"
What do you get if you cross a phone with a PSP?

The Sony Ericsson phone brand has already enjoyed successful Sony tech team ups with the Walkman music player phones and Cybershot branded cameras so we should perhaps be unsurprised that they are considering capitalising on the success of Sony's PSP and bringing out a PSP-themed gaming enabled mobile phone handset.
Recently filed with the patent office, this design shows the phone having a swivel screen that moves it a gaming friendly 90 degrees and controls similar to the PSP.
With Nokia's N-Gage mobile phone gaming supposedly about to enjoy a relaunch, perhaps the time is now for games on phones to really take off.
