iPhone launch date is revealed

Apple has revealed the launch date of the highly anticipated iPhone in America in a series of three new adverts shown yesterday (Sunday).

The iPhone will go on sale in the US on the 29 June. The pricing has been confirmed as $499 for the 4GB model and $599 for the 8GB version.

The three new adverts entitled "Never been an iPod", "Calamari", "How to" display various tantaslising features of the iPhone including how to turn it on, access music, use email and browse the internet.
