Polk Audio miDock10 iPod speakers promises a retro look

Another week another iPod speaker dock, this time from a company called Polk Audio.

Not to be confused in any way with the Polka bakelite mobile phone accessories the speaker system promises to turn your iPod in to a lean mean killing speaker machine.

According to the blurb, all you have to do is "Slide your iPod into the miDock10 to enjoy high-performance sound".

The retro looking 15.24cm H x 40.64cm W x 10.16cm D speaker system has been designed to accommodate all docking iPods, and you can plug it in while at home, or install batteries to take it with you on the road.

As standard, the miDock10 will charge your iPod when plugged in, and can also connect to your computer with a USB cable to let you sync your iPod with iTunes.

Plus, the convenient credit-card sized remote control lets you operate your iPod and miDock10 from across the room.

Tech specs include two 3.25-inch full-range drivers and ported enclosure produce high-quality stereo sound, an auxiliary input to connect other music sources, headphone jack for private listening and a charger included in the box.

Priced at $179.99 unfortunately shipping is only available to the US.
