BMW is rumoured to be working with Apple to offer ways for future customers to integrate Apple's upcoming iPhone device in their car in a similar way to the company's current iPod docking system.
According to a blurb published by AutoSpies this week, the German auto maker will be the first to announce multi-level connectivity with the Apple device in an upcoming version of its high-end 7-Series sedan.
The report, reported on by Apple rumour site Appleinsider mentions that the rumoured integration will go beyond "just Bluetooth".
BMW was the first major car maker to team with Apple on integrating the iPod and its car stereo system in 2004.
Since then a number of car manufacturers have introduced systems that allow you connect the MP3 player to your car.
