Samsung shows off Ultra Smart F-series
Four Ultra editions is not all that Samsung had up its sleeve today. It's also showcasing five Ultra Smart smartphones at 3GSM.
Top of the range is the F700, which we reported on a couple of weeks ago. It boasts HSDPA at up to 7.2Mbps, as well as tri-band, has a 5MP camera, a full touchscreen, and a full QWERTY keyboard. It looks like a black iPhone.
Next up is the F500 series, consisting of the F500, F510, and F520.
The F520 is HSDPA enabled tri-band, has a 3MP camera, a gorgeous 3-inch touchscreen, a full HTML browser, offline mode, and microSD slot for memory.
It slides one way to reveal a number pad and navigator, and another way to reveal a tiny, complete QWERTY keyboard.
The F510 is dubbed the Ultra Movie, and goes hand in hand with it's almost identical twin, the Ultra Video F500. It is HSDPA enabled with tri-band, has a 2MP camera, a 2.4-inch screen, and plays back MPEG4 as well as DivX.
In addition, it's capable of receive DVB-H TV and has a TV out slot. For storage, it boasts a whopping 410MB of memory and a microSD slot.
Finally, there's the Ultra Music F300, a Tri-band phone with GSM/GPRS/EDGE, a 2MP camera, a 2.1-inch screen, a dual face, and fully featured music library. It also features an FM radio, Bluetooth, 100MB of memory, and a microSD slot.
No word on when or even if the UK will see any of the beauties at 3GSM.
