Palm "Foleo" the big announcement?

Rumours of piggy-backing "smartphone companion" emerge...

Thanks to a supposedly leaked press release, rumours are surfacing that the Palm product announcement we're all waiting for from the D: All Things Digital conference is named the "Foleo" and is not actually a phone itself but a support device, a "smartphone companion" for the Palm range.

Essentially a dumb terminal, rumours have it that this device is bigger than a phone, with a large screen and full size QWERTY keypad that lets you view emails and edit documents in more comfort then send them back to your Palm, info will supposedly be whizzed between the two devices through an automaticly synching pair up.

Sounds a little crazy. We'll update you as soon as the official announcement comes in.
