The trouble with remote controlled planes is that you have to find a big enough spot of land to treat as a runway.

In steps the Hydro-Fly from Thumbs Up. A unique radio-controlled hydro-plane racer that takes off and lands on any surface, including water.

Supposedly simple to learn to fly and control, the makers are promising “incredible speed and acceleration” as well as having a special feature where at the tap of a button it climbs vertically whilst accelerating at an astonishing rate.

The Hydro-Fly comes assembled and ready to run with all that’s needed to get flying included in the box.

With a 1000ft range, powerful motor and a double coated high-impact wing structure for extra durability, the Hydro-fly according to Thumbs Up “is a breathtaking flying experience that’ll appeal to kids of all ages!”.
