Today’s website of the day is the Christmas markets section of ivillage.co.uk – the “website for women” apparently. Not sure what that says about me, but I’ve found it very useful!
A popular addition to the ever-increasing commercial overload that is Yuletide in recent years has been the Christmas market. Once only found on the Continent, many city squares around this country now host these seasonal bazaars. The perfect place to find unusual pressies for the whole family. This link lists all the best in the UK by region, so finding your local one is a breeze.
The rest of the site is actually pretty good too. Not having spent much time surfing sites aimed specifically at women, I’m not sure how it compares, but it’s full of useful ideas for the coming festivities as well as year-round tips for getting through life if you’re not burdened by a Y chromosome.
