Shoot Experience is encouraging people to get on to the streets in London with their cameras to take part in a photographic treasure hunt.
Shoot City challenges photographers of any level to come out and shoot the Square Mile on 30 September. Teams of 2 to 4 people are given clues and then have to find locations to photograph the solutions.
Event organizers say that judges will be looking out for images that evoke an emotional response rather than those that demonstrate technical proficiency.
The event starts and finishes at the Light Bar, where teams will download their images at the end of the day and watch the start of the judging. Images will be part of a City of London photography exhibition called “Making Space,” which takes place from 29 September until 27 October in 30 Spital Square, off Spitalfields Market.
If you can’t make this date, then look out for Shoot Brixton on 21 October – for more information visit Shoot Experience’s website.
