LINDY launches 8 Port HDMI Splitter

You can’t have too much of a good thing…

LINDY Electronics today announced the launch of its new 8 Port HDMI Splitter.

Primarily designed for commercial applications, this device will enable users to connect up to eight HDMI or DVI equipped display devices to a single High Definition source such as a set top box, DVD player or computer.

The LINDY 8 Port HDMI Splitter supports HDTV resolutions of up to 1080p with multi channel digital audio and can be used with cable runs of up to 30 metres.

It is HDMI 1.2 and DVI 1.0 compliant and has a built in EDID simulator and HDCP key-set, which allows each output to function independently.

This may seem a little bit HDMI overkill, but with the amount of devices now sporting HDMI outs, HDMI ports might go all USB – as in you can never have too many.

The LINDY HDMI 8 Port Splitter comes with a 2-year warranty and is available now for £349.00.
