Fujitsu Plasmavision UK has today extended its latest 50 series home cinema plasma collection with the introduction of two new HD-Ready plasma screens.
Fujitsu's new 55 inch and 63 inch plasmas - the P55XTS55 and P63XHA51 feature the company's Fujitsu's AVM II video processing technology and according to Fujitsu has four times the processing power of most other plasmas available.
The P55XTS51ES sports a 16:9 widescreen panel with a 1366x768 pixel plasma to yield an improved 1800:1 contrast ratio and 900 cd/m2 brightness.
In addition to an analogue TV tuner, the P55XTS51ES features an extensive range of inputs including 3 x RGB Scart, 2 x Component Video, Composite Video, 2 x 15-Pin VGA (RGB), S-Video & 3 x Stereo Audio however only one HDMI connector.
It includes a separate selector box that handles all the connectivity and processing. The media box connects directly to the panel via one cable to increase connectivity options and installation choices as well as provide greater flexibility for buyers and installers.
The P63XHA51 also features a 1366 x 768 pixel, high-resolution panel, yielding an improved 7000:1 contrast ratio and 1000 cd/m2 brightness. It features an extensive range of inputs including, RGB Scart, Component Video, 15-Pin VGA (RGB) 3 x Stereo Audio and RS-232. All connectivity is housed directly on the panel, but again only one HDMI connector.
The two models will set you back £8995.00 for the P63XHA51ES and £5495.00 for the P55XTS51ES.
