The Million Dollar homepage was an inspired idea that became a global phenomenon that made its creator both famous and rich.

But, can this success be repeated?

Here's a valiant effort. You can a buy a word, any word, and once the website has collected 10,000 (preferably different) words, they will be incorporated into a novel. You will then be able to see your word in print and published on the web.

Words cost a pound each and you can have any word you like (subject to a few fairly obvious conditions listed on the website) so things like antidisestablishmentarianism and incomprehensibilities and antitransubstantiationalist might make the author have to work a bit for his ten grand.
So far he's only sold ten words, so we wish him well.
