Apple launch range of new notebooks in US

While the UK on-line version of the Apple store is still off-line with a "back soon" notice, the US site is back up and running with – ta da! – a new range of MacBooks!

The caption states, "Same lovable MacBook, new lovable speed".

The new range now feature the recently launched Intel Core 2 Duo up to 2.16GHz, 1GB of RAM, up to 200 GB hard drive and prices start from $1099.
