AOL has overhauled its AOL Pictures photo sharing site in a Flickr-style upgrade that adds tagging to its list of features.
Although the site is only in beta at the moment, users are invited to create public galleries of their photos, and organise them with keyword tags.
Other users can add comments and search through the public galleries, just like in Flickr.
This latest beta launch is part of a long list of services that AOL is changing or upgrading in its bid to become a viable ad-supported business rather than a subscription service.
The move has seen AOL offering free email addresses and 5GB of online storage to web users.
