World's first gay motor show launches during Cardiff's Mardi Gras
What’s the gayest car in Britain? And by gay, we don’t mean the Radio 1 definition of the word - we mean G.A.Y.
That, among other burning questions such as which is the most gay-friendly car dealership in the UK, are set to be answered at (apparently) the world’s very first gay motor show.
TopGayer.com and publisher TS Media will be holding the event alongside this September’s Cardiff Mardi Gras, and it’s hoped that combined attendance will make the event this year’s biggest free festival.
Rich Tuckwell co-founder of TS Media and Editor of TopGayer.com said: "We spoke to all the manufacturers to get support for the event and the response was amazing, Mitsubishi and Chevrolet where the first to sign up".
"Land Rover really wanted to be at the show but unfortunately budget made it impossible, however their JV Like Dealership jumped at the chance to represent the brand."
"Toyota World and Cardiff Lexus were next to sign up, closely followed by Saab and Mazda, who’ll be bringing a new hard top convertible MX5 in bright pink".
During the event, TopGayer will announce its motoring awards to the crowds, and will be announcing the findings of the secret shopper survey they have been conducting on the treatment of LGBT (that's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transexual folk for the benefit of all you straights out there) customers by more than 150 UK dealers and awarding the gay friendly dealer of the year award.
The worst in the country will also be named.
The TopGayer Motor Show takes place on September 2 from 10am to 6.30pm. Go to Topgayer.com for more info.
