Apple running out of patience with rumour mill websites

Apple's patience has finally snapped with ThinkSecret as the computer giant is announcing that it is suing the rumour mill website Think Secret for giving away trade secrets.

The proceedings have been put in action following the latest rumour, that Apple is due to launch a sub $500 (£260) computer next week when Steve Jobs gives his annual major product announcements at San Francisco's MacWorld.

This is the fourth time ThinkSecret has run into trouble with Apple in the last two months. Earlier scoops included details of a new flash based iPod, plans for a rival to Microsoft Office called iWorks and details about Apple's latest operating system Tiger.
