Citizen brings out world's first Bluetooth watch
Citizen has beaten Seiko to the finish line and is bringing out the world's first Bluetooth enabled watch.
The Citizen i:VIRT communicates with your mobile phone so that you don't even have to take your phone out of your pocket/handbag/backpack to see who's calling—caller ID flashes up on the watch's blue display.
Its other main selling point is that it alerts you if you drift too far away from your mobile, ensuring you never leave your mobile behind.
There's no report of pricing yet, but it's unlikely to make the European market. According to reports, just 5000 are slated to be made and launched in Japan.
